I can usually be found around town snapping pics of locals, chasing my kids, drawing abstractions with my sharpies or long & gangly sticks, writing whatever happens to spill out of my pen, & reading banned books.

Marie Starr

All right! This is really coming along ... we have our full line up for the first annual Canandaigua Poetry Festival, which begins at noon with Acoustic Soul and features the talents of Matt Shackelford, Rigel Klingman, Anthony Church, Merle Heath, Dwayne Wilder, Sherry, Ethic, Justice Peace, Libby Varno, David White, Nick Hogan & Brendan Giusti, Wanda Schubmehl, Colleen Powderly, Maureen Owens, Kitty Jospe, Pat Schwartz, Nanette Hiller, Kaeri Carroll, Bob Carroll, Mj Iuppa, Marie Starr, BEDEA, Ed Downey, CHEA, Josh Knapp, Gregory Paul, & Shawnee Boyeee ... so much talent and vitality packed into one day - you don't want to miss this!

Poetry runs from Noon - 6:30, followed by Music from 6:30 - 9pm.
Held at The Commons on Main Street Canandaigua, this will be an outdoor festival with food & craft vendors and words, words, words!
